Abstrak

An intersection is a section of road that is the meeting center of various traffic flow movements. At unsignalized intersections, there are often points of traffic flow conflict that result in traffic congestion, especially during peak hours. A case in point is Wonosobo City, which occurs at the intersection of Banaran Kalierang Road, Selomerto District - Wonosobo. This location was chosen because in addition to congestion caused by irregular traffic flow conflict points during peak hours, around the road at this intersection are also shops, residential areas, schools and gas stations. Based on these problems, calculations and data analysis were carried out on the initial conditions of the intersection, obtaining a degree of saturation (DS) value of 0.91 for the morning and 0.91 for the afternoon. Because the results of the calculation of the intersection in the initial conditions do not meet the requirements of MKJI 1997, namely DS < 0.75, it is necessary to recalculate with several alternatives so that the DS value can meet.
