PENERAPAN FUNGSI MANAJEMEN PELIPUTAN DAN PENYIARAN BERITA TV INDONESIA

Abstrak

Rumusan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah "Bagaimana manajemen redaksi program berita Kompas TV Indonesia, ditinjau dari fungsi manajemen menurut George R. Terry." Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen redaksi program berita di Kompas TV Indonesia, dalam kaitannya dengan penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen, yakni: planning, organizing, actuating, controlling (POAC). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Objek penelitiannya adalah Divisi Pemberitaan Kompas Tv Indonesia, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada fungsi manajemen lebih menonjol di antara yang lainnya. Namun komitmen pada lembaga rapat redaksi sebagai forum pengambilan keputusan tertinggi atas isu liputan, pembentukan tim liputan, rencana eksekusi di lapangan, dan seluruh perencanaan serta hasil evaluasi, merupakan sebuah keharusan bagi seluruh kru divisi pemberitaan Kompas Tv indonesia.

The formulation of the problem in this research is "How is the editorial management of the Kompas TV Indonesia news program, in terms of management functions according to George R. Terry." Thus, the aim of this research is to find out how the editorial management of news programs at Kompas TV Indonesia is, in relation to the implementation of management functions, namely: planning, organizing, actuating, controlling (POAC). This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. . The object of the research is the Kompas Tv Indonesia News Division. The results of this research show that there is no management function that is more prominent among the others. However, commitment to the editorial board as the highest decision-making forum on coverage issues, formation of coverage teams, execution plans in the field, and all planning and evaluation results, is a must for the entire Kompas Tv Indonesia news division crew.
