ANALISIS PERUBAHAN KURIKULUM PAI DARI MASA KE MASA

Penelitian ini mengkaji evolusi kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Indonesia dan implikasinya terhadap kualitas pendidikan serta pembentukan generasi Muslim. Sejak Rencana Pelajaran 1947 hingga Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, kurikulum PAI telah bergeser dari fokus tekstual-hafalan menjadi lebih kontekstual, partisipatif, dan berbasis karakter. PAI tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga instrumen pembentuk akhlak dan spiritualitas. Metode kualitatif jenis lapangan dengan triangulasi sumber digunakan untuk pengumpulan data.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perubahan kurikulum, termasuk KBK 2004, KTSP 2006, Kurikulum 2013, dan Kurikulum Merdeka, telah membawa dampak positif. Kurikulum kini menekankan pendekatan saintifik, penggunaan teknologi, integrasi nilai moderasi beragama, serta penguatan pendidikan karakter dan keterampilan hidup. Proses pembelajaran PAI menjadi lebih interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna, mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Ini juga mendorong pengembangan kompetensi guru. Diharapkan, perubahan kurikulum ini akan membentuk generasi Muslim Indonesia yang berkarakter kuat, berwawasan luas, serta memiliki spiritualitas dan integritas tinggi, siap menghadapi tantangan global dengan landasan nilai-nilai Islam yang kokoh.
This study examines the evolution of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in Indonesia and its implications for the quality of education and the formation of a Muslim generation. Since the 1947 Lesson Plan to the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, the PAI curriculum has shifted from a textual-memorization focus to a more contextual, participatory, and character-based one. PAI does not only function as a transfer of knowledge, but also an instrument for shaping morals and spirituality. A field-type qualitative method with source triangulation was used for data collection.The results of the analysis show that curriculum changes, including the 2004 KBK, 2006 KTSP, 2013 Curriculum, and Merdeka Curriculum, have had a positive impact. The curriculum now emphasizes the scientific approach, the use of technology, the integration of religious moderation values, and the strengthening of character education and life skills. The PAI learning process has become more interactive, fun, and meaningful, integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. It also encourages the development of teacher competence. Hopefully, this curriculum change will form a generation of Indonesian Muslims with strong character, broad insight, and high spirituality and integrity, ready to face global challenges with a solid foundation of Islamic values.
