PENGARUH HAFALAN SURAT PENDEK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MINAT BACA ANAK AL-QUR’AN DI TPA AR-RAHMAH GUNUNG KAWI

Penelitian ini dilakukan di TPA Ar-Rahmah Balikpapan untuk meneliti pengaruh hafalan surat pendek terhadap minat baca Al-Qur'an pada anak. Capaian penelitian menampilkan bahwasanya menghafal Al-Qur'an atau surat pendek membutuhkan pembiasaan dan pelatihan rutin. Meskipun kontribusi hafalan surat pendek 83% pada minat baca Al-Qur'an hanya 17,0%, secara statistik terbukti signifikan dan menjadi bagian strategi utama dalam menaikkan minat baca Al-Qur'an di TPA Ar-Rahmah. Guru PAI juga berperan penting dalam menaikkan minat baca melewati metode pengajaran yang efektif. Hafalan surat pendek, meskipun kontribusinya tidak besar, terbukti mampu memotivasi anak untuk membaca Al-Qur'an.
This research was conducted at TPA Ar-Rahmah in Balikpapan to investigate the influence of memorizing short verses (surat pendek) on children's interest in reading the Al-Qur'an. The findings indicate that memorizing the Al-Qur'an or short verses requires consistent practice and training. Although the contribution of memorizing short 83% verses to the interest in reading the Al-Qur'an was only 17%, it was statistically significant and constituted a primary strategy in enhancing the interest in reading the Al-Qur'an at TPA Ar-Rahmah. The Islamic Religious Education teacher also plays a crucial role in fostering reading interest through effective teaching methods. In conclusion, memorizing short verses, despite its relatively small contribution, proved effective in motivating children to read the Al-Qur'an.
