KONTRIBUSI TOKOH MUSLIM TERHADAP SEJARAH SAINS

Abstrak

Penelitian ini membahas kontribusi para tokoh Muslim terhadap perkembangan sejarah sains, khususnya pada masa keemasan peradaban Islam. Melalui kajian literatur dan analisis historis, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai pencapaian penting dalam bidang astronomi, matematika, kedokteran, fisika, dan filsafat ilmu. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran dan inovasi para ilmuwan Muslim tidak hanya menjadi dasar bagi kemajuan sains modern, tetapi juga berperan dalam mentransmisikan pengetahuan klasik ke dunia Barat. Dengan menyoroti tokoh-tokoh utama serta perannya, penelitian ini bertujuan memperkuat pemahaman tentang kontribusi peradaban Islam dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan global.

This study explores the contributions of Muslim scholars to the development of the history of science, particularly during the Golden Age of Islamic civilization. Through literature reviews and historical analysis, the research identifies significant achievements in astronomy, mathematics, medicine, physics, and the philosophy of science. The findings indicate that the ideas and innovations of Muslim scientists not only laid the foundation for modern scientific advancements but also played a crucial role in transmitting classical knowledge to the Western world. By highlighting key figures and their roles, this study aims to enhance the understanding of the Islamic civilization’s influence on global scientific development.
